Vampire Co-Op Shooter EvilvEvil Launches On Steam: To Fight Evil, Sometimes You Have To Become Evil
Hopefully this does better than a certain "other" vampire shooter game.
Another co-op, vampire-based shooter hits Steam today, and no it's not that one! Toadman Interactive has released EvilvEvil on Steam for $19.99 with a console launch slated for early next year when the shooter's second season drops.
Instead of hunting vampires, why not actually just be the vampire? Except, you're the "good" kind of vampire. You see, in EvilvEvil, you may drink blood, but you and your fellow members of the Order of the Dragon have been awoken from a long slumber. You got the wake up call because Zagreus has decided to use their powers to consume humanity and become the universe's most powerful being. Of course, the only way to stop this is to use the powers your vampire heritage bestows upon you.
Once you've got everything installed, you'll pick from one of three vampires to control. Each has their own "vampire specialty" and skill set. Through 11 episodic missions, you and up to 2 friends (or strangers) can take on co-op missions to uncover the "Dark Conspiracy." Along the way you can expect to strengthen both your arsenal and your skills to take on more challenging foes.
"We’re thrilled to finally unleash EvilVEvil to PC players worldwide,” said Ola Nilsson, CEO at Toadman Interactive. “Our team has made an unparalleled vampire power fantasy game that transforms players into the ultimate predator, and we can’t wait to see how even the most seasoned warrior adapts to the diabolical challenges they’ll be facing in their paths."
If you pick up the game on launch day, you can also grab a weapons pack DLC for free. This pack drops 4 weapons on you and will cost you $1.99 if you try to pick it up after launch day.
