Valorant Teases New Controller In State Of The Agents Post
Riot Games may have skipped the January State of the Agents post for Valorant, but it's back this month. The February post isn't massive, but it does offer some broad-strokes updates on a few issues, including what's going on with Viper, player reception of Yoru, and hints of a new agent.
In brief, players won't see an updated Viper in the next patch, as there's still work to do to see "where she fits within the choice competition among Brimstone and Omen." And y'all really seem to like Yoru, but his infiltration tools need a buff. Those will be getting addressed in a future update.
There's also a new controller agent in the works, though Riot didn't provide a lot of concrete info, since it's apparently still in the early stages. What we do know is that it considers this new character to be a "cosmic shift" from what everyone is used to and that the agent is being designed with "'galaxy brain' players" in mind. So, if you're the type that really likes to dig into things and work with a complex strategy, then it looks like this one will be for you.
