Valheim's Ashlands Is Designed To Be The Most Challenging Biome Yet

Valheim is currently testing its most challenging biome yet. Known as the Ashlands, this biome is covered in a dark, foreboding ambiance that beckons death. It also beckons you to adventure deep into the lava-covered lands to take on challenges not seen before in the world of Valheim.

The Ashlands bring tons of newness to Valheim, with 30 new weapons, 10 new creatures, 70 new buildable items, 30 new crafting materials, and 3 new armor sets. Add to that new locations and events, and you've got yourself a recipe for something new and exciting.

The trailer below is the first introduction we get to the Ashlands in Valheim, and it features many of the new creatures and locations players can look forward to in the survival crafting game. Ashlands is available for public testing right now, and you can check out the full patch notes over on Steam, but beware for here be spoilers.
