V Rising’s Upcoming Expansion, Secrets Of Gloomrot, Takes Players' Homes To New Heights
The game’s first major expansion isn’t all filth and madness.
Soon, Stunlock Studios' vampire game, V Rising, will get its first major expansion and while we've already known about it, today we've got more details from the survival game's team. The Secrets of Gloomrot adds a new zone filled with “filth, ambition, brilliance, and madness”. Sounds like an exciting place, and yes, it is named Gloomrot. We’re going to guess the polluted valleys might be one reason why.
The new zone is similar to Dunley Farmlands in size and divided into two areas that each have its own unique features. That includes tech and enemies. And yes, if you really like it there, there’s space to build those new multi-floor strongholds.
Speaking of which, those castles are getting higher and higher. New tools are being added that will allow players to turn their keeps into tall buildings. Those staircases finally have a real purpose, so have fun expanding your home.
The update will also add building improvements that make the process easier and allow players to achieve the aesthetics they want. Navigating the UI will be simplified, more color variations are being added. The full list of details is available on the V Rising site.
