V Rising 1.5 Million Copies

Over a week ago, we reported that V Rising sold above 500,000 copies and noted that sales would likely increase. Yet now - in its two weeks of Early Access - the survival vampire game has blown past a staggering 1.5 million copies sold.

Developer Stunlock Studios were surely stunned by it themselves as they recounted that sales passed 1.5 million copies since launching in Early Access on May 17. In just two weeks, they've cracked another milestone. Players are going in headfirst to become the next all-powerful Dracula on the continent of Vardoran, 23,320 of them leaving over 88% positive reviews for the title on Steam. That's about a quarter of the previously reported 80,000 player base (definitely higher now) blood-sucking away and building their home castle in the game.

V Rising goes for $19.99 on Steam right now if you're interested in seeing how the game shapes up. If that's a bit daunting, you can watch our First Look of V Rising (below) and decide if it's the right fit for you!

Are you playing V Rising's Early Access now, or is it not your cup of tea? Let us know in the comments!
