V Rising Announces The Most Appropriate Crossover Ever As Castlevania’s Simon Belmont Challenges All Vampire Kind
Take him down and claim his iconic weapon.
Stunlock Studios may have announced the most appropriate video game crossover we’ve ever seen. Today, the developer revealed that they’ve teamed with Konami to bring vampire hunter Simon Belmont to the open-world survival game V Rising in a Castlevania crossover. Belmont is on a massive vampire hunt, but we all know you’d rather keep your undead lives, so you’re going to have to fight him. Just be careful, he’s armed with his whip as well as a bunch of holy weapons.
If, however, you are able to destroy him before he destroys you, you will be rewarded. In fact, you’ll be able to claim his Vampire Killer whip and receive new combat abilities to go along with it.
The crossover will be available later this year as part of a free update. That said, if players want more, a Legacy of Castlevania Premium DLC pack will be available to purchase. The pack will offer players the ability to build castles inspired by Castlevania and a skeletal mount as well as V Rising music themes reworked in the Castlevania style.
