Upcoming MMO FPS PIONER Gets A Steam Page, Shows Off Gameplay, But Delays Launch (Again) To 2025
This one was originally slated for 2023, now it's 2025.
PIONER is a game we've been following for a while here on the site, however there aren't many articles up on the game. We've been eager to get more information on the MMO FPS game since its apocalyptic setting was first shown off. However, after the game's original 2023 release was delayed, information has been a bit sparce. The team delayed to 2024 over concerns about sacrificing quality. While there was no official announcement this time around on the delay, the new Steam page has the game marked for 2025 now.
On to some better news if you've been waiting on this one. A new gameplay trailer dropped showing off multiple aspects of gameplay planned. PvE players will have a huge world to explore (over 50 sq. km.), a story with kind of a sci-fi/post-apocalyptic vibe, and a range of activates to dive into, including casino games when you need a break.
PvP players will get their fill too, although we don't have a ton of details on that one yet. There is some footage shown in the trailer below.
Obviously being a bit of a "survival" game, there's plenty of crafting and weapon upgrading...and yes, I want that sword shown at the very end of the trailer.
Are you looking forward to PIONER's release? Hopefully it doesn't end up slipping into 2026!
