Upcoming McDonald’s Australia Promo Seems To Indicate The Return Of WB’s MultiVersus
That’s one way to find out.
WB’s fighting game MultiVersus may be making a comeback a year after it shut down. In fact, unless WB is just into doing weird marketing crossovers for things that no longer exist, it seems like there’s a pretty good chance - one we knew might exist thanks to a survey the developer did last year indicating plans for the game's return.
Yesterday, a post popped up on Twitter with an image of the McDonald’s Australia website listing WB MultiVersus as an upcoming promotion. If you go look at the site and scroll down a bit, you’ll see it.
McDonalds Australia is about to get a MultiVersus Happy Meal promo, which means a relaunch is probably imminent?

The promotion shows images featuring different characters from the game, each listing two characters underneath. The listing doesn’t give a specific launch date for this promotion, but it is interesting that it’s being announced while the game it's tied to doesn’t currently exist.
All that said, if this does indicate the game is actually making a return, it seems likely that the promotion will be timed to take place in conjunction with the relaunch or a bit after it’s occurred.
