Upcoming Fighting Game MultiVersus Will Launch With A "Rifts" PvE Mode That Contains Chapters
The Subspace Emissary: Cartoon Network Edition
How the heck does MultiVersus introduce PvE before Overwatch 2?
Warner Bros. Games has announced "Rifts" for the upcoming free-to-play fighting game, offering an alternative experience to PvP matches. This mode is designed to provide players with a variety of challenges, including boss fights and mini-games.
The Rifts mode is structured into chapters, each containing multiple nodes filled with battles and challenges. These nodes feature unique mutators that alter the combat scenarios. Players can earn rewards and gems by completing node objectives and winning matches, with gems being used to enhance stats and add special effects to characters.
It will be available when MultiVersus launches on May 28 across PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/Series X|S. Rifts are accessible solo or cooperatively with friends online.
