Upcoming The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle Expansion Reveals New Companion: Isobel Veloise
Dedicated, fearless, and kind. All of these are qualities of the next Companion in High Isle.
The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle expansion is on the horizon, set for June 6 for PC/Mac and Stadia (in limited regions), while Xbox and PlayStation enter the fray on June 21. To hype up the release, Zenimax Online revealed more about one of the two unique Companions being added, an aspiring knight and stalwart ally by the name of Isobel Veloise.
Isobel is "one of High Isle's most gifted knight aspirants" and the next recruitable Companion to join you on your adventure. You'll encounter Isobel through your journey in the High Isle, eventually choosing to include her in your quests within the Systres Archipelago. Zenimax also shed some light on the history of Isobel, painting her as a knightly figure born with a righteous heart since the day "she could hold a stick." In a letter from Knight Commander Jourvel to Duchess Elea Dufort, we learn more about her personality:
"She's dedicated, fearless, and kind. Everything one could want in a knight. The only complaint I have ever had cause to offer her is that she is—how should I put this?—she’s a bit of a clod. She can act quite humorously sometimes, or make observations you'd expect from an uncultured woman half her age. She's also, to be honest, a bit of a bookworm. She spends far too much time reading fantastical stories concerning chivalry and romance."
Anyone piqued by the qualities of Isobel Veloise and who plans to grab the High Isle expansion, might consider pre-purchasing the expansion to receive unique bonus rewards and gain immediate access to the new Palefrost Elk mount.
