Unlock Exclusive Items In Rainbow Six Siege: M.U.T.E. Protocol Reloaded Starting Today
Upgrade your weapon by taking down your opponent to get the Golden Hammer in this in-game event.
Starting today, August 2, and running until August 23, Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege will be having a limited-time game mode in a reworked event called M.U.T.E. Protocol: Flesh and Metal where players will be able to unlock new cosmetics and participate in a new mode called Arms Race.
M.U.T.E mode is set in a version of the Tower that has been taken over by the Brain. In this version, when players kill an opposing team member, they’ll upgrade to a new weapon tier while the killed player will spawn with one weapon tier lower. However, players don't need to worry too much as there’ll also be multiple power-ups, such as the Power Dash, that will allow players to run through walls scattered across the map for players to use, and this will hopefully make up for players who may have earlier lost a weapon tier.
The game’s objective is to obtain the highest weapon tier possible, the Golden Hammer. Players can only win a round in M.U.T.E by using the Golden Hammer to smash the Brain’s shields on the map. This event will allow players to win new Organic skins and items like Uniforms, Headgear, Weapon Skins, and Operator Card Portraits.
This new event is also introducing the Merging Process Bundle which will include:
• Signature Weapon Skin
• Universal Attachment Skin
• Charm
• Operator Card Background
In addition, players will also be able to unlock Flesh and Metal packs by completing the special event challenges or purchasing them for 300 R6 Credits. Players can also buy bundles directly for 1680 R6 Credits each.
