Undawn Closed Beta Brings The Post-Apocalypse To PC, iOS, And Android
Can you survive the Undawn?
Open-world survival RPG Undawn has announced sign-ups for closed beta which is set to begin April 3rd in the US and Canada. In Undawn players will explore a devastated world four years after a global apocalypse. Combining PvP and PvE experiences, players will need to fight off the threats of infected hordes and other players to survive the wasteland.
If you're interested you'll want to sign up now due to a limited number of spots available in the test. It is open to PC, iOS, and Android users. Undawn will be free-to-play following its official launch later this year.
In a producer's letter released today, Producer Mo Cen talks about the strides the game has made since it began work on Undawn back in 2020 and how they have worked to add a better overall combat experience, enhance base building, and create a living breathing world.
Undawn is built using Unreal Engine and features distinct terrains including plains, mines, deserts, swamps, and abandoned cities. Base building features furniture and structures.
While the game will be be free-to-play on all platforms, we reached out to the team but they aren't ready to announce anything regarding crossplay or progression just yet.
You can sign up for the closed beta on the official Undawn site and check out the short trailer below.
