Ubisoft Announces XDefiant Closed Beta And Beta Has Its Own Rewards
And there’s no NDA.
Today, Ubisoft dropped some big news for those waiting to get their hands on XDefiant. Closed Beta is about to begin. In fact, the shooter's Closed Beta period will start at 10 am Pacific time on April 13. It will stay active until April 23 at 11 pm Pacific. That means testers have ten days to get in there and really give the game a go.
There’s good news for content creators too – no NDA. Streamers and other content creators can begin sharing their experiences with their followers on the first day of the event.
To kick things off, Ubisoft is holding a special showcase on their official Twitch channel, beginning at the time of the Closed Beta launch, pitting two teams of streamers against each other in a best-out-of-seven competition.
The Closed Beta will also introduce a work-in-progress build of the competitive ranked mode. More details about that will be provided later. There will even be a special reward track for players who participate in the testing, offering them a chance at skins, cards, and styles… but mostly skins.
To join the test, players can use a few options to get an invite: signing up via the XDefiant site or earning Twitch Drops during the showcase. Of course, don’t rely on the drops. Go ahead and sign up on the site ahead of time.
