Trove's Downtime Compensation Includes A Free Dragon
MMO downtime is never fun, especially when that downtime lasts for a day or more -- as was the case recently when Trion brought Trove down to deal with an exploit issue. Once the issue was (mostly) fixed, and the game brought back online, Trion promised players something in the way of compensation. Now we know what that is.
For the most part, the downtime affected PC players, who spent more than 24 hours without the game. However, as it turns out, consoles were brought down briefly too, so even they're getting a small package -- which consists of a Lustrous Gem Box, an Adventure Reliquary, and an Emp Gem Box. It's not as big of an offering as the PC compensation package, but likely still pretty nice for anyone affected by the console downtime.
As for PC players, if you're a player who logged on between the time the game came up after the patch on August 7 and 10:00 PM Pacific on August 8, you're eligible to receive the following:
- 3 Lustrous Gem Boxes
- 1 3 Day Patron Pass
- 3 50% Adventurine Potions
- 1 Adventure Reliquary
- 1 Golden Dragon Effigy that will unlock a random legendary dragon you don't already own.
On a side note. Some player keep asking for rollbacks, Trion would like to make it clear that's not going to happen in this case and would like for everyone to quit asking.
