Trove’s Playerbase Planted 1 Million In-Game Trees As Part Of Playing For The Planet’s “Green Game Jam” Initiative
If only they were real trees...
In honor of World Environment Day, Trove players were tasked with planting as many trees in-game as possible. Players were given an added incentive that if they could band together and plant 1,000,000 trees in-game, a special exclusive mount would be given to its players. Well, the Grovin’ and Trovin’ event was indeed successful with 1 million in-game trees planted, and players will be earning the exclusive “Sapling Sower'' mount as promised for making the Trove universe greener.
“We were waiting with bated breath as the number of in-game trees inched closer to our 1 million community goal,” said gamigo group CEO Jens Knauber. “We are incredibly proud of our Trove community, and we hope they enjoy their reward!” All players can check the Claims area of their Trove account to redeem their exclusive Sapling Sower mount.
