Not to be outdone by Blizzard's announcement of the next World of Warcraft expansion, Trion Worlds took to Gamescom and dropped a ton of information regarding updates coming soon to every single one of the free to play games in their portfolio.

First up, Rift. The free to play MMORPG is heading into update 3.4 and in addition to a new raid, expedition zone, dungeon and more, update 3.4 also brings a first to the free to play title. A new calling will be added to the game for the first time since launch. The Primalist is a totally new nature based calling that includes 6 new souls to choose from that specialize the Primalist in DPS, tanking, or healing roles.

On the sandbox side of Trion Worlds, ArcheAge will soon release its largest update ever entitled Heroes Awaken. The brand-new Hero System, updates to the Guild Progression System, Housing upgrades and a reborn Diamond Shore offer just a glimpse at the new content in ArcheAge Heroes Awaken.

Been playing Trove lately? The upcoming Fall update, The Shadow Tower, will introduce an all-new class, the Lunar Lancer and endgame content as the game prepares to launch on Mac.

Even Defiance got in on the announcement action as an upcoming update patch will introduce a new race of enemies, the acidic Shrill who inhabit Silicon Valley’s arkfalls. Also added will be Supreme Weapons, a new higher tier of rarity which can be applied to all current and future weapons.

For all the announcement particulars, check out the official Trion Worlds site.

After what they did with Archeage and its players no one with a brain would ever give this deceitful, dishonest company another dime.

The botch of ArcheAge over here and then the screwing over of the founder pack purchasers Trion has pretty much burnt bridges with a lot of players. They had the chance to have the best MMO on the market under their publishing name but instead crashed and burned and have pretty much drove a lot of players away from any product they put out. These announcements pretty much strike me as much as the new expac for wow did. Blah with a huge side of we are running out of ideas with an appetizer of god we just suck at this now.

RIFT is the best f2p MMO out there NR1 2015 to bad that crapy TERA has action combat .... whit that action combat on no one cares about lore, logic, linear small content, only bum bum bum and boobs and toy cars mounts ! sad the gaming standards in 2015 are low.

I'm a big fun of this game. But tbh, the combat system is outdated in my opinion specially when the Action combat system is actually becoming more popular. If they ever made a separate title for this game that include Action combat, I will subcribe, and pay as much.
