Town Of Salem 2 Goes Free-To-Play
Anyone who purchased the game before September 15 will receive a special item.
Town of Salem 2’s most recent patch makes a big change to the village-themed deduction game less than a month after it officially launched. Starting today, the game is free-to-play. Anyone who purchased the game before today will receive The Super Deed to the Town pack – which is great for them because it allows them to play unlimited games in addition to granting access to the cauldron and shop. It also gives them a pet, three of every scroll, the Deed to the Town corner decoration, and 5800 Town points.
That pack, along with a less expensive Deed to the Town pack, can be purchased in the game’s store. Chances are anyone who wants to play the game a lot will have to buy one of these, because free players will have to use a key-based system that grants them one key every five hours. In addition, they can only accumulate 5 keys. That’s probably not too bad if you’re just looking for something fun to do every now and again.
The game can be downloaded via Steam now. Patch notes for the most recent update are available on Twitter.
