Tower Of Fantasy's August 10 Launch Will Have Changes From Recent Betas
The devs are currently preparing everything based on feedback from two closed beta tests.
On August 10, Level Infinite and Perfect World will open the flood gates and allow everyone to begin exploring the shared open-world MMORPG Tower of Fantasy. For those counting, that’s just five days away, and in that time, the devs still have a lot to do.
The release date was revealed in the latest Letter to Wanderers. (That’d be Volume 4.) They also announced that in gratitude to everyone who pre-registered for the game, they’re adding new rewards. They’ll also be dropping bonuses for the official launch, including a free SSR weapon that players can claim after completing a specific mission. And, yes, there will be social media bonuses.
Aside from announcing the launch date and new rewards, the devs also listed several changes they’ll be making to improve the game. These include new additions, such as the option to customize the character’s chest (We’ll just assume that means players are getting a boob slider), fixes for localization, adjusted requirements for activity missions, and more.
The post also addresses concerns players may have regarding how the developers will go about handling specific issues. According to the post, the Tower of Fantasy team will follow specific guidelines while addressing bugs and other issues. These include not altering data, stats, or functions without an announcement, verifying issues as soon as they’re reported, and putting players first with in comes to non-bug-related issues.
