Tower Of Fantasy Announces Server Merges, First Merge Set For Next Week
The first batch takes place soon.
The time has come and Level Infinite has announced they will be doing a round of server merges for Tower of Fantasy. The merges will occur in batches with the first scheduled to take place on April 17. This means a period of downtime for the servers in question – although it seems players are only looking at about three hours. They will receive compensation in the form of 300 dark crystals, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
The first batch of server merges will take place across five of the MMORPG's regions. Each region will have six or more servers merged into one. South America will see the most change with ten servers being merged.
Players don’t have to do much on their end to accommodate these changes, but the devs do ask that players log off fifteen minutes before the downtime occurs. Chances are players will be given reminders in the game chat. Devs also ask that players don’t make any purchases five minutes before the servers go down, so as not to have them lost.
