Torchlight Infinite Prepares For SS3 With Hunter’s Odyssey
You don’t have to wait for the new season to get new goodies.
Torchlight: Infinite players have about a month before SS3 kicks off, but that doesn’t mean they have nothing to do until then. In fact, beginning today, they can start grinding for new goodies available in the Hunter’s Odyssey pre-season event.
The game's pre-season content grants players exclusive buffs, increasing their movement speed and allowing them to deal additional damage. This should mean they’ll be able to get some serious grinding done. Players will want to be properly equipped, however, because these buffs are intended for some intense combat. Specifically, maps will feature multiple Netherralm boss fights on the same map during this event. The upside? More bosses means more treasure chests.
Speaking of monster drops, from now until November 20, monsters have a chance to drop the Proof of Stat Hunter. Players can offer this to the Goddess of Hunting in order to open the gates to the Hunter’s Woods. During this event, players can also grind for three ultimate legendary gear items that are only available during preseason.
