Tokyo Ghoul Arrives In Dead By Daylight, Says "You’ve Never Seen Ken Kaneki Like This"
The collab is live on the Steam test build now and will officially release on April 2nd.
Ken Kaneki may be the protagonist of anime Tokyo Ghoul, but in the world of asymmetric horror game Dead By Daylight, Kaneki finds their darker impulses encouraged as the game's newest Killer; The Ghoul. The latest collaboration hits the Steam public test server today with a full release scheduled for April 2nd.
Kaneki's anime backstory carries over into Dead By Daylight, but there are going to be new aspects to the character only explorable in Dead By Daylight. Yes, Ken's tentacles will certainly be an instrument of death while hunting Survivors, but a skill set centered on amplifying powers and chasing down fleeing Survivors makes things ultra fierce. The press release claims that you'll need to see each victim's death to believe how "gloriously graphic" things become.
Upon full release, a full package of Tokyo Ghoul items will become available for purchase.
Hey, at least it's a little something to tide players over after Behaviour Interactive announced that Dead By Daylight wouldn't be getting content updates while the team focused on resolving some long-standing player gripes.
