Today's The Last Day To Apply To Be Part Of Smite's Olympians Council
If you're a dedicated player of Hi-Rez / Titan Forge Games' MOBA Smite, you're probably familiar with The Olympians. For those who are unsure, we're talking about a player advocacy group elected by the rest of the Smite community to represent them in dealings with the game's development team. The idea is that they communicate with both the player base and the development team via a variety of venues, including regular council meetings and an annual summit in Georgia, to address both player concerns and relay what's happening development-wise from the devs to players.
Luckily, this isn't a completely thankless job. There are benefits. Players on The Olympians council will be accepted into the Smite partner program, gain free admission to the Hi-Rez Expo (when that takes place in person again), receive exclusive virtual items, and be flown to the annual summit in Atlanta (again, when things happen in person again). The virtual items include an exclusive in-game avatar and title, a tag on the game forums, and Reddit flair all indicating a council position.
To become part of the council, players must apply -- and today is the last day to submit those applications. Everything you need to know about applying can be found on the official Smite site, but do keep in mind you need to hurry.
