Today Is Bungie Day! To Celebrate, Take Part In Destiny 2's Giving Festival Plus Other Activities
The annual celebration is all thanks to the community.
Happy Bungie Day!
The annual celebration, initiated by Bungie's community, kicks off today. Guardians in Destiny 2 can enjoy various activities throughout the week, including the Bungie Day Giving Festival, a fishing derby, and increased reputation gains in gameplay playlists. Events are both in the shooter and outside the game. The Bungie Foundation is also hosting the Giving Festival, where supporters can raise funds for charities and have a chance to win prizes such as an Exotic Ghost Shell and special edition merchandise.
Additionally, Destiny 2 introduces fishing in its Season of the Deep, with a fishing derby on Bungie Day offering digital prize packs. The Bungie Store is hosting a major sale right now too, featuring new merchandise and up to 50% off select items.
Retired rewards are also making a comeback for players who have completed in-game achievements. Bungie has collaborated with Displate to create Destiny-themed metal posters as well. In Destiny 2, Guardians can anticipate the annual Solstice event on July 18, and the Destiny 2 Showcase is scheduled for August 22, promising more information on the game's future.
