To Give It “The Best Shot At A Real Comeback,” Spectre Divide’s First Season Was Delayed, It's Coming In February With A Console Release
We already knew about the delay, now we know how long you'll have to wait.
Mountaintop Studio’s free-to-play shooter Spectre Divide didn’t get off to the best start, as the developer noted back in October. A big part of the problem was the monetization the game launched with, but it wasn’t the only issue. It was, however, the issue the developer fixed most quickly – understandable as it’s easier to change some prices in a game store than it is to make serious adjustments to mechanics.
That said, the developer asserted back in October that the game wasn’t being put on the chopping block. Rather, they planned to release the first season in December or January. That update has been pushed back a month. Now players can expect “Flashpoint” in February. They can also expect everything the developers originally planned to introduce in the update, including the game’s 9th Sponsor, a battle pass, and a way to see stats easily.
With the added time, the devs have planned a few new features, too. Probably the biggest of these is the launch of the console version, Although, a new map isn’t bad either.
