Titan Forge Games Announces Transformers Battle Pass For Smite
The team-up was revealed at Hasbro’s annual event, Pulse Con.
It’s the cross-over you never knew you wanted…mostly because it’s probably not one you ever thought might happen. “Robots in disguise” doesn’t exactly scream “gods” – no matter what Megatron might like to think, but, it seems they’re godly enough because a new Smite collaboration featuring the Transformers is on its way.
Revealed at Hasbro’s Pulse Con event, the crossover event will be introduced next month as a new battle pass featuring some of the most popular transformers as god skins. These include Geb as Optimus Prime, Ra as Megatron, and Jing Weis as Starscream. Each transformer will have two skins – one in the style of the original animated series and the other in Smite’s art style. (Based on the teaser, it looks like they might actually transform in-game as well.)
This crossover being the game’s next battle pass, there will be other Transformers-themed items to obtain. What those are, we can’t say just yet as Hi-Rez and Titan Forge are holding onto that information to reveal during the October 27 patch show via their Twitch channel.
