Time For The Path Of Exile Legacy Of Phrecia Event And PoE 2 Players Will Be Getting A Race Of Their Own
The PoE2 laptop prize look pretty snazzy.
In just mere moments from the time I write this, barring any issues, Path of Exile will kick off the Legacy of Phrecia event. This event will see the ARPG's ascendancies mixed up and shaken a bit as one of the ways the Grinding Gear Games team plans to fill the gap left by the 3.26 update being postponed while Path of Exile 2 sucks up resources for its own 0.2 patch.
Those of you playing OG PoE will see a number of "whacky" ascendancies introduced which allow some combinations that have been sitting on the whiteboard of nutty ideas in the GGG offices for some time. Expect to see some strange class abilities and combinations. In fact, you can check out the plan here if you aren't sure what you would like to play yet. The event also sees a number of other changes including Idol updates and more.
Over in Path of Exile 2 world, a new race event will start there on March 2nd. These races will feature the game's new series of Demigod items as prizes. The race will not be a Hardcore event, but death penalties, in the way of being frozen for a full minute after death, will be incurred. Click "Join" on the character select screen when the event starts and you'll be whisked away to a race to be the first to kill Doryani in Act 3 in a Standard Solo Self-Found fixed layout environment.
Head to the official site to see the rewards and the schedule. Should you manage to win the last race on March 16th, you snag a custom Alienware laptop with a PoE 2 paint job.
