This Week In Destiny…

To aid in relief and recovery of the devastating wildfires in Hawaii, the Bungie Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign to deliver emergency medical kits for assistance with search and rescue operations. Players can support this cause by purchasing a specially designed t-shirt, with profits going to humanitarian organization Direct Relief. Additionally, a unique in-game emblem, "Kūlike Kākou," will be provided to purchasers.

Bungie has also teased a new adventure, hinting at an upcoming Destiny 2 Showcase event on August 22. Twitch Drops are making a return too, offering rewards for those who tune in.

And since the shooter's Season 22 is on the horizon, changes such as an Exotic Mission Rotator, adjustments to Abilities and Armor, economy changes, PvP enhancements, and more are imminent. The Season 22 Weapons Preview provides some detailed insights into parts of this. Additionally, a new Special Deliveries Kiosk will be introduced in the Tower, offering various rewards and incentives for players.

Last but not least, starting August 22, Bungie will be implementing region-specific pricing adjustments for certain currencies, aiming to balance pricing in response to foreign exchange rate fluctuations and economic conditions. This routine update will impact Silver packs, catalog expansions, and new expansion sales, with the changes set to roll out on September 6.

I rather give money directly to the people than give it to Bungie. Destiny 2 sucks.
