Things Get A Little High Fantasy And D&D-like in Deceive Inc.'s New "Scoundrels & Sentinels" Season
You may not have to roll a d20, but there are new gadgets and agent reworks to explore.
Time for a new season, agents. Deceive Inc. has released the "Soundrels & Sentinels" season and, if you can't tell from the image, the Tales from Bardkeep season is all in on the high fantasy fun of games like Dungeons & Dragons. As with most new seasons, the shooter's season comes with 50 levels of rewards, all cashing in on fantasy. Make your agent a knight, a rogue, or pick up the game's first animated calling card.
On the gadgets front, agents will have access to a "Bait Box" that can be placed and then play soundtracks to distract others. Need an example? Sure, how about having it play some gunshots to draw others away from your actual location? There's even a new camera type that's launched from a pen and it can stick to walls or, hell, stick it to some NPCs and get a mobile view of the surroundings.
Maps and agents are also getting buffs, changes, and improvements to keep each match feeling different, and new players continue to get love as the team moves forward with more beginner queue work.
The full patch notes break down all the particulars.
