Things Are Heating Up (And Cooling Down) In Rocket League's Elemental Season 9, Facing Off December 7th
Fire and ice are the main themes, but some classics are being reworked if you missed them in the past.
It's all about the elements next week when Psyonix drops Season 9 into the F2P rocket car soccar game Rocket League. Fire and ice reign supreme and are showcased everywhere, including in car design, arena updates, banners, decals, tires, and even goal celebrations that briefly cover the entire arena in fire or ice.
As with previous seasons, we see a new car enter the arena. The Emperor (pictured above) is unlocked right away with the premium season pass and up to 3 other iterations of the car become available for those that progress along the pass far enough. For those that need to know, the Emperor uses the Breakout hitbox.
Arena wise, the Forbidden Temple gets a pretty wild makeover in Season 9 with molten lava and permafrost ice being featured all over the arena... you know, exactly the type of place you'd like to do some driving!
New decals, toppers, and all the other usual rewards will be scattered throughout the free and premium passes, as usual.
Get all the details over on the Rocket League site and Magickmann will see you on the pitch!
