Things Are About To Get Hot In Lost Ark’s "Summer Heat" Update, Coming Tomorrow
Prepare for “Summer Heat”… after about five hours of downtime.
After a bit of teasing, Lost Ark’s June update is almost here. Dropping tomorrow, the “Summer Heat” update brings the first 8-player Kazeros Raid: Echidna to the MMORPG, introduces the ability to summon major NPCs to combat, adds a new level of gear progression, and continues the adventure in South Kurzan.
While all of this has been teased before, Smilegate has finally provided real details for the update. Now we know that the Echidna raid rewards will include 21 new achievements, 4 new titles, 3 mounts, an emoticon pack, new cards, and more. The post also details new allied forces skills. These are all tied to summoning NPCs in combat and involve a meter mechanic.
Of course, as we mentioned, the update continues the game’s storyline, and there are a whole lot of new features involved in that. For one thing, an ocean liner has been added – as has been a new tome, a new merchant, and more. Effectively, there’s a lot going on.
