There's A KFC Dating Sim On The Way, In Which You'll Romance Young Colonel Sanders
Soon you'll have the opportunity to romance a fast-food icon who's been dead for nearly 40 years. Wait, what?
I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator -- that's the whole title -- just got a Steam page with a "Coming Soon" release date. In the game, you're "a promising culinary student, as you try to date your classmate, Colonel Sanders." Your choices will have consequences, with "real animated characters' feelings at stake." Sadly, there are only nine characters, not 11, and it's likely that none of them are named "Herb" or "Spice."
While it's not listed as "free" anywhere on the game's Steam page, it does come up as "Free" when you search for it on Steam (like so). That's good enough for us!
And lest you wonder whether this is some unofficial fan-made abomination, fear not! KFC is listed as the publisher, with Psyop as the developer, and the page credits it as "a game that KFC actually made." So yes, it's an official abomination! You might even recall the KFC Gaming Twitter coming to life a year ago, confusing and confounding chicken-loving gamers worldwide. We could have stopped it then, but now it's too late. What hath the Colonel wrought?
