There's A New Sheriff In Town And Its Name Is "A Twisted Path To Renown"

First off, let's get the buzzwords out of the way. New hardcore, PvEvP, extraction-based, first-person shooter, MMO game. Phew. That's what the upcoming game A Twisted Path To Renown is billing itself as, and it's quite the mouthful. The game features survival mechanics, and plenty of activities such as mining, crafting, development, trade, or building an industry. A Twisted Path To Renown is set in 1899, the end of the wild west of American history.

The game promises a player-driven economy, intricate crafting system, and engaging exploration. You'll be using authentic weapons and encountering wild animals and NPCs as well as other players.

I've seen A Twisted Path To Renown likened to a baby between Red Dead Redemption 2, Rust, and Hunt: Showdown. I'll let you be the judge. It's certainly an underutilized genre that could use more good games.
