The Very First Collaboration Event In Marvel Rivals Will Be With Other Marvel Titles...Like Marvel SNAP
It all starts this Friday.
Hero-shooter Marvel Rivals is still riding high on positive reviews and high player counts. While NetEase has taken a few jabs here and there, including a recent accusation of bots entering games after you've had a few losses, you generally couldn't have hoped for a better launch.
Given the IP and the success the title has had so far, it probably won't be much of a surprise to you that the NetEase team is already set to start featuring collaborations with other titles. The first one actually arrives this Friday, January 3rd and is staying "in-house" when it come to the IP they'll be cooperating with first.
It's Marvel.
According to a tweet from the team, we'll be seeing 3 other Marvel games. Card game Marvel SNAP, Marvel Puzzle Quest, and Marvel Future Fight will be in on the fun, but we don't yet know exactly how they'll be tied in.
While we'll probably have a smattering of skins and other cosmetics make it, we'll have to wait to see if there's any special events or quests tied to the collaboration...or if anything special is going on in those other 3 titles, too.
Speaking of skins, don't forget that Moon Knight: Lunar General and Squirrel Girl: Cheerful Dragoness skins also arrive on Friday.
💥 We're teaming up with MARVEL Snap, MARVEL Puzzle Quest, and MARVEL Future Fight to bring you a brand new collaboration available on January 3rd!
