Elder Scrolls Online Crosses 19 Million Threshold As Bounties Of Blackwood Event Free DLC (With A Slight Catch) Prize Has Been Revealed
Players don’t have far to go to hit the mark either.
It hasn’t even been a week since The Elder Scrolls Online team announced the Bounties of Blackwood event and players are already almost three-fourths of the way to completing it. For those that may have missed the announcement, the event is rewarding players for completing objectives as a group by unlocking various rewards when certain milestones are hit. Rewards are unlocked at 33%, 66%, and 100%. As of this writing, players have completed 72% of the required objectives, meaning it won’t be long until players unlock the final rewards.
When the event was announced, the ESO team only revealed part of the 100% rewards, the Cascading Bounty Box filled with a variety of items. They did note that there was more to be had but left it a mystery at the time. Now, we know that the reward also includes free access to the game’s next batch of DLC, Deadlands, as soon as it launches in November.
There is, of course, a bit of a catch to this. In order to participate in the event, players need to have the Blackwood DLC. If a player doesn’t have this, they won’t be able to take part in the event or reap the rewards.
On an additional, related note, in the Gates of Oblivion Year-End Event stream, the ESO team revealed that as of now, the game has over 19 million players. The stream also provided details on the upcoming Deadlands DLC, slated to launch on November 1. If you’re interested and have a few hours to spare, you can watch the stream below.
