The Summer Game Fest Sale Puts Over 2000 Games And DLC On Sale In The PlayStation Store
Let's take a look at some of the best multiplayer discounts.
We're just days away from the Summer Game Fest showcase this Friday and although the show isn't going to have any real "mega" announcements, we're still looking forward to seeing updates on some projects we're waiting on.
If you're eager to just get into a new game, though, the PlayStation sale for the Summer Game Fest has started. Over 2,000 titles and DLC packages see discounts ranging from 25%-85% off. (The header for the sale says "up to 75% off", but I've seen some 85% tags on games.) There's a ton of great deals on single-player games (Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is less than $30), but we're here for the multiplayer savings.
Here's just a few of the more notable offerings for those of you needing a new multiplayer fix:
- Rainbow Six Siege has their Deluxe Edition priced down to $9.99, the Ultimate Edition is 50% off at $44.99
- Destiny 2's Lightfall is $9.89
- Borderlands 3 is down to $10.49 with additional discounts on the game's DLC.
- One of my favorite, underrated "chill and play" sports-type games, Riders Republic, will only cost you $9.99 for the standard edition. In other Ubisoft news, The Division 2's Warlords of New York Ultimate Edition is $14.99.
- Dino shooter Exoprimal is less than $20.
- Stunningly...Anthem is on here at $2.99. Obviously skip this one, but I thought it was funny.
- One to CERTAINLY pick up if you haven't already is Titanfall 2 at $4.99.
- Gaijin's new (and somewhat initially troubled) adventure game Age of Water is already 25% of at $22.49, with the Gold and Silver editions seeing discounts, too.
That's just the beginning and doesn't dive into the DLC also discounted. For example, Exoprimal has about a dozen DLCs packs as part of the sale.
Check it out and maybe grab something new to play while watching the Summer Game Fest on Friday.
