The Story Of The First Echo Concludes With The Launch Of Destiny 2: Echoes Act 3
Travel through the outskirts of Nessus and make your way to the planetary core.
The third act of Destiny 2’s Echoes dropped today, bringing an end to the first Echo’s story as it confronts the Conductor. The story takes players of the shooter through Nessus’ outskirts and introduces a new Exotic mission titled Encore which will see players fight their way to the planetary core and reward them with Choir of One, a new special ammo void Exotic Auto Rifle.
The auto rifle isn’t the only new weapon players will be able to obtain in this update. Act 3 also makes two new Vex-inspired weapons: the Solar Machine Gun Speleologist and the Void Trace Rifle Chronophage. If you haven’t already picked up Season of Dawn’s Martyr’s Retribution Solar Grenade Launcher, that’s available too.
Finally, Act 3 updates artifact mods, adding new perks focused on Auto Rifles. Players now have access to enhanced options for Overload Champions. The perks also improve damage resistance and boost weapon damage. More details are available in last week’s This Week in Destiny post.
