The Starlight Knight, Latiya, Charges Her Way Into Vindictus Today With An Ongoing Special In-Game Event

MMORPG Vindictus' 21st playable hero is The Starlight Knight, Latiya, and is now available in-game. With the debut of the character is Latiya's Celebratory Package Event taking place from now to September 20, featuring items and clothing for Latiya that players can collect.

Latiya is a jousting master and knight-errant equipped with a lethal lance and magical chain hooks. She grew up within a dangerous jungle and eventually became the world's greatest hunter, but focused her ambition on becoming a knight. While being well-versed in swinging a lance with one hand, Latiya also carries her tribe's magical Kuja chain hook to navigate the environment, elude monsters, and chase down prey. As Nexon describes, Latiya walks a fine line "between a merciful defender and a merciless hunter."

Her armor sets include "Eusi Kuja" and "Stout Heart," the former being Black Claws designed for dodging and deflecting enemy damage. "Stout Heart" is her signature medieval full plate armor with unique black leopard skin and interlocking, solid plates. As for her skills, "Lion's Rage" laces her lance with magic, performs an upward slash, and follows up with a piercing thrust. Additionally, making inputs after the skill alters the combo.

"Snake Coil" lassos out the Kuja chain to hook nearby enemies, covering a large area, and could restore stamina if it hits an enemy successfully. "Light of Kuja" is her counterattack that can chain into other moves and also allows Latiya to dodge and land attacks back to back. Lastly, "Panther Pounce" unleashes a flurry of strikes with the Kuja and lance together, and whatever enemy Latiya hits first will instantly die.

Latiya is shaping up to be a strong hero, but remember there's a Celebratory Package Event going strong until September 20 with outfits specifically for her. Items included are: "Latiya's Outfit Set Destiny Box," "Title: The First Latiya," and "Unlimited Inner Armor Pass (30 Days)."
