The Spooky Season Is Here In Fortnite’s Fortnitemares 2022
Have fun using unique items like the glorious Pumpkin Launcher.
Fortnite's Halloween festivities, Fortnitemares 2022, is here with frightening cosmetics, new quests, and special rewards. The festivities will run until November 1 at 2 AM ET, so don’t miss out on all the boo-tiful items to be earned.
Players can equip the new Howler Claws to activate the Wolfscent ability. This ability will give players tracking vision, allowing them to put a mark on enemies in a nearby radius. If no enemies are around, the Wolfscent ability will automatically enter its cooldown. If the player is being tracked, their sixth sense will let them know with an audible heartbeat getting louder and louder as the hunter approaches.
That’s not all, the Howler claws also give players the Slash Ability that will give players claws and the ability to perform a four-combo melee attack. Players will also be able to perform an Air Slash ability–a double jump that damages opponents upon landing.
In other exciting news, Horde Rush is back only this time it will be a Zero Build Horde Rush. Players will need to take down hordes of monsters, avoid attacks, earn combos, and take down the Final Boss all without the aid of building. Horde Rush will end on November 15 when downtime for version 22.40 begins.
Players can now visit Fortnitemarish places like Grim Gables and use unvalued items like Candy and the Pumpkin Launcher. Two Fortnitemares Quests will become available daily over the course of 14 days. For completing five, players will unlock the Everything's End Glider. For completing 13, players will unlock the Chrome Cage Back Bling. And for completing 25, players will unlock the Unmaker Pickaxe. The Quests will be available to complete until Fortnitemares ends on November 1 at 2 AM ET.
