The Second Half Of Final Fantasy XIV’s 6.4 Live Letter Is Just Around The Corner
Or, well, two weeks away.
Finally. We knew it was coming, what with Square Enix rolling out the updated Final Fantasy XIV Special Site for 6.4, announcing tomestone changes, and all that jazz. But the time has officially arrived, the XIV team has announced the date for the second half of the 6.4 Live Letter. Yes, second, if you missed the first part, you can find it here.
The FFXIV Letter from the Producer Live Part LXXVII is scheduled to take part on Friday, May 12, beginning at 4:00 a.m. Pacific. (or 7:00 a.m. Eastern). Yes. That’s either “too early to be awake” or “I’m driving to work” time, but remember that Yoshi-P and Foxclon are coming to us from Japan.
As with most of the MMORPG's Live Letters, this one will be available to watch on YouTube, Twitch, and Niconico. It will be in Japanese only, but the slides will feature both Japanese and English text and will cover the rest of the 6.4 information not covered in the last Live Letter as well as miscellaneous updates.
If you plan on watching the stream and would like a translation as you do so, we highly recommend the Final Fantasy XIV Discord (unofficial). They’re very good at what they do, and we use them for our own reports. If you’d rather just wait, we’ll have something available a bit later in the day.
