The New Life Festival Returns To Elder Scrolls Online And Yes, I Want The Snowglobe Reward
And yes, the Impresario is also back.
While I'm still a bit worried about the future of The Elder Scrolls Online now that the MMORPG is ditching the annual content expansions in favor of a seasonal structure, I don't HAVE to worry about that until next year...so like a good procrastinator, I'll wait until then.
In the meantime, it's off to the game's New Life Festival event. Starting today and running through January 7th, you don't have to do a thing to get the event's first buff. Enjoy a 100% experience buff just for playing during the event. If you are feeling a bit more festive, grab a drink and toast your friends as you complete a free quest to reward you with the Breda’s Bottomless Mead Mug memento if you haven't previously earned it.
Completing one of the ten available daily quests will score you a New Life Festival box that has a chance to contain any number of things. Motifs, incense, toys, and other prizes all have a chance to be in your prize box. On the "new" rewards front, the box could contain the new bolt of winter storm cloth or (my favorite) the Runebox for the Surprising Snowglobe memento.
An Elder Scrolls event just wouldn't be an event if the Impresario wasn't here with rewards to purchase with your event tickets. Just remember, you can only carry 12 at once, so make sure you're spending them.
If you have visitors coming over this season, here's a cool, chill ESO fireplace crackling video for those that like having something like this running on the television.
