The Multiverse Is About To Collapse In DCUO’s Latest Episode
DC has been destroyed, the multiverse is in shambles, things are just bad.
Despite their best efforts, the heroes of DC Universe Online have yet to stop Perpetua’s plans to destroy the Multiverse and everything in it. Washington DC, and the home of the Justice League, has been destroyed. Things are dire. The world’s only hope is for both hero and villain alike to stop Perpetua before she completes her task. Thus begins DCUO’s next Episode: Dark Knights.
Dark Knights dropped in DCUO today and is available as a free episode for all players. It features new daily and weekly Open World missions. There are also a new Duo, a new Alert, and a new raid. All three come in normal and elite versions. In addition to that, players can also try out limited-time, special event versions of all the new content. Players need to be at least level 15 to access those.
In this new episode, players will explore Death Metal D.C. and, appropriately, take on Death Metal Batman as a new ally. He’ll join Lex Luthor in an attempt to destroy Pepetua’s throne on Earth 3. Of course, player help will be needed as well. At the same time, players will also need to assist Wonder Woman at the Source wall where they will fight to protect the Multiverse.
As with all new updates, this one has plenty of new goodies for players to obtain. There’s even a new Death Metal currency...because, why not?
