The Multiplayer Online Pirate Game Skull & Bones Release Date And Pre-Order Incentives May Have Leaked
While the announcement trailer was back in 2017, it looks like a release date is finally here.
A Twitter user, Aggiornamenti Lumia, who usually deals in reporting listings before they are added to the Xbox and Windows stores, made a tweet that the highly anticipated Skull & Bones would finally release on November 8, 2022.
While the game has already been announced, these new leaks go together with previous claims that Ubisoft would re-reveal the pirate game sometime next week. A reporter for Try Hard Guides, Tom Henderson, reported that the publisher is getting ready to show gameplay and reveal more details showing off the title’s mechanics in early July. The pre-order bonuses, also listed by Lumia, for the game will include missions, a digital soundtrack, a Premium Bonus Pack, Smuggler Passtoken, and an artbook.
In this “multiplayer first” game, players will be transported to the golden age of piracy where they will begin their journey as a mere nobody whose ultimate goal is to become the most infamous pirate to sail the high seas. Players will start off with nothing but a small trading vessel as they slowly raise their Infamy level. Eventually players will be able to craft stronger ships with unique play styles to best fit each individual pirate’s needs.
Players will be able to build Infamy by taking on contracts with NPCs, joining with friends to complete some of those contracts, completing activities, exploring, finding treasure, and by participating in big world events.
If the rumors and leaks all turn out to be true, then players will not have to wait too much longer for the re-reveal said to come in early July.
