The Migration From Bethesda's Launcher To Steam Has Begun
A detailed FAQ can be found on how to make the transfer as easy as possible.
Two months ago we let you know that Bethesda’s Launcher was due to shut down in May. Well, with May only a few short days away, Bethesda has released its update just on how to go about transferring all games over to Steam. From May 11, players will no longer be able to play their games on Bethesda's Launcher. If players are delayed in making the transfer and miss the window, they don't have to worry about losing all their games. While they won’t be able to play their purchased titles on Bethesda's Launcher, players will still be able to transfer their titles and Wallet over to their Steam account after May 11 .
Again, players will have plenty of time to transfer their game library and Wallet and will not lose anything from their Bethesda.net account in the migration. Many games will have their saves migrated as well, meaning players don't have to worry about losing their hours of progress. While the Bethesda.net Launcher is shutting down, a player's Bethesda.net account will still be accessible on their website and in-game.
Players are sure to have many questions regarding the migration process and are encouraged to take a look at the comprehensive FAQ that has been listed on Bethesda’s site. While players can continue to play their games via the Bethesda.net launcher until May 11, you are encouraged to make the migration as soon as possible.
