The Meteor Returns In Fortnite OG And So Does 50v50
It'll be for a limited time, though.
A big change is coming to Fortnite OG, although it’s probably more of a flashback for longtime Fortnite players. Chapter 1 Season 3 is underway in the battle royale, bringing back Lucky Landing and the meteor that changed the island in the original game.
Lucky Landing is a small town designed to encourage close encounters. While the scenery might be nice, you may be too distracted to enjoy it completely. As the season progresses, the meteor will appear in the sky and continue its trajectory until it changes everything.
A new season means new loot, and items will be rolled out throughout the season. Currently, the guided missile, the hand cannon, and the hunting rifle are all available. Players will be able to pick up five more weapons as time goes on. The Chapter 1 Season 3 OG Pass adds even more loot for players to acquire – like the guitar-shaped Rebel Pickaxe. A rundown of items, as well as a list of items that are carrying over from Season 2, can be found on the Fortnite site.
