The Heat Of New World’s Summer Medleyfaire July Update Is Here
Cast out your line or relax and play some musical tunes in this easy-going summer event.
New World’s Summer Medleyfaire Update had some downtime this morning but worry not, the servers are live again and adventurers are able to celebrate the event with fishing and music throughout Aeternum.
Summer Villages have been erected in Brightwood, Everfall, Weaver’s Fen, and Monarch’s Bluffs. Raise your reputation with the Maestro through quests like catching the famed Aeternum Sturgeon to net special rewards. Players will even be able to frame their favorite catches in their home at new Mount-A-Catch stations found in every village.
Musical instruments are now a trade skill. Players can pick up and learn 5 different instruments: Guitar, Mandolin, Upright Bass, Drums, and the Azoth Flute. Players will also be able to collect and master 31 initial songs that can be earned by completing the Summer Medleyfaire quests. Better instruments can later be crafted through the furnishing trade skill. Singing songs and partaking in performances will also reward players with trade skill XP as well as various buffs. Maybe a kind spectator will even toss a bit of coin a players way in thanks for the performance.
Also, soon to come is the arrival of Admiral Blackpowder and his crew. Quest givers in the Cutlass Keys are looking to offer loot to those strong enough to defeat the despicable evil within the new Barnacles & Black Powder Expedition. Don’t get too excited just yet, after the update players will still need to wait one week before they can plunge into the new expedition.
In addition, this update will also bring some quality of life changes. To start, players can now have an easier time finding groups for expeditions with the first version of the Group Finder tool.
