The Force Is Still With Us As Fortnite Collaborates With Star Wars Again For A Limited-Time Event
Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and the Fortnite Festival each got something different.
May the Force be with you.
Fortnite collaborates with Star Wars again with the last update on May 3. It introduced various thematic elements across Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and the Fortnite Festival. There’s activities ranging from constructing Rebel strongholds in LEGO Fortnite to battling with iconic weapons like Chewbacca's Bowcaster in Battle Royale.
The LEGO Fortnite mode allows players to immerse themselves in the conflict between the Empire and Rebels, with a variety of themed building options and rewards. Players are able to unlock the Chewbacca Outfit and other Star Wars items through the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure. Meanwhile, Battle Royale fans can rescue Chewbacca himself from Imperial captivity — earning his Bowcaster and engaging in battle with Darth Vader (and Stormtroopers).
As for Fortnite Festival, it features a Mos Eisley Cantina-inspired setting — complete with live music and quests to unlock items like the Seven-string Hallikset Guitar. Then there’s Rocket Racing, which has podracing-inspired quests and exclusive decals. You have until May 14 to experience/earn everything, so don’t wait too long to drop in to the game.
