Omega Accounts Can Jump Into The "First Strike" Limited-Time Event For EVE Online's Vanguard Today
Players will contribute to the corruption in the war zones of New Eden.
CCP Games has launched “First Strike,” the inaugural limited-time live event for EVE Vanguard, a multiplayer sandbox FPS module for EVE Online.
This event for the sci-fi MMO is available to players with an active Omega account, and runs from today until December 11. First Strike is part of the Havoc patch scheduled for December 12, introducing the fleet-oriented Ice Refinery Heists and AIR Daily Goals. Players participating in the event contribute to the corruption in the war zones of New Eden, impacting the player-driven economy and turning the tides of battle.
Also, the Founders’ Access program will offer benefits to Omega subscribers —including access to regularly scheduled limited-time live events and an opportunity to influence the game's development.
EVE Vanguard features players engaging in hazardous missions on planets with a mysterious backdrop. The game aims to evolve over time with community feedback playing a crucial role, according to the developers.
This patch marks the conclusion of EVE Online's 20th year of continuous operation, and CCP Games promises new content expansions and in-game events throughout 2024 and beyond.
