Today, Nexon dropped a new update in the F2P shooter, The First Descendant. The update includes several new features to the game, such as a system for enhancing the options of Reactors and External Components, a medal system, and new modules. It also introduces a new Ultimate Descendant as well as the Challenge Difficulty for the Void Erosion Purge. For those who are newer to the game and having difficulty figuring everything out, a Beginner Guide has been introduced as well.

Players who equip Ultimate Blair – or even regular Blair – will activate an exclusive quest for him upon doing so. As you might expect, completing this quest will earn a special reward – in this case, the chest attachment Pyromaniac Objet. Being introduced alongside the new Ultimate Descendant are related Amorphous Materials and Skill Modules.

To unlock the new Void Erosion Purge: Challenge Difficulty, players will need to have completed the Normal version first. Once that has been completed, they can access it via the Operations Terminal or the World map and work their way through the five stages. Completing the Challenge Difficulty will earn players MP and HP items, Tier X Cores, and Weapon Core amplifiers. The Void Erosion Purge Challenge difficulty also comes with a leaderboard.
