First up, if you missed the announcement that The First Descendant is adding jiggle physics, make sure to hit up my piece from yesterday. I'm sure it's "big" news for fans.

I love Blade. It's sad that we've been denied some new Blade content for a while. That said, I think I'm just going to pretend that one of the new Descendants coming to The First Descendant in the looter-shooter's second season on December 5th is Blade. I mean, his real name is Keelan Ayodele and he's a member of H.O.U.N.D, a specialized search unit that primarily is used to take control of space found in the Void. Keelan's skill set is toxic-based, and some abilities are designed to be used while airborne. Seriously, though, I'm calling him Blade, just watch the trailer and you'll likely come with me on this.

There's actually a second Descendant coming with the new season, but we don't get to see her in the new trailer. Ines Raya works with Keelan in H.O.U.N.D., is electric-based, and actually won't be available until Week 7 of the season. We'll have to wait a bit for her inclusion, but she'll probably end up with a trailer of her own by then.

The new season also drops more backstory for Sharen (if you're curious about why that Descendant is so cold), a new Dread Armor boss, a new dungeon, the continuation of the game's main story, and new ultimate weapons.

I've included the full developer presentation, something the team hopes to do more often going forward, below. It was pre-recorded so you can turn on those subtitles if needed. The team takes about an hour to present everything and covers all the small things, too.
