The First Descendant Dishes Out More Issue Compensation As More Descendants Get Trailers

Launch hasn't been the smoothest of affairs for Nexon's The First Descendant. They already passed out a few compensation gifts to players just 24 hours after launch and now they're at it again. I wanted to get footage for our First Look video on the looter-shooter yesterday, but connecting to the game was a literal mess. Initially, the team said the issues were related to MS server issues, but late yesterday the game was brought offline for emergency maintenance.

When you log in today you'll have a few 30% boosts to gold, Kyper shards, and Descendant and Weapon experience gains sitting in your mailbox. The boost last 3 days. I don't like how they go active as soon as you claim them from your mailbox, though. Make sure to claim them as soon as you plan to use them.

In other news, 3 more trailers released this morning showing off three more Descendants. Not sure why all of these trailers weren't released before the game's launch, but here we are.

Sharen is an expert on camouflage and uses subterfuge to get the jump on enemies. Blair is a little more forceful using fire and traps. Finally, Kyle uses magnetism to absorb damage and protect allies.

Now I'm off to try to get some footage again.
